The Meditation: The Inward Harold Tuesday and Wednesday 18-19 November 7pm-10pm £60
Through a process of meditation and mindfulness, students work towards selflessly being in the moment. Learn a unique silent opening and perform a Harold from the depths of the collective unconscious. This class is spread over two evenings.
Advanced Harold Workshop with Anthony Atamanuik 21 November 7pm-10pm £30
Yes! Let’s do Harold’s that are enjoyable, funny and have real discoveries. Harold is an alchemical formula that should transform a suggestion into a myriad of metaphors and ideas, defining and elevating that suggestion through organic and collective interpretation. So, let’s do that, huh? How ’bout it!?
The Movie: Weekend Intensive Saturday & Sunday 22-23 November 11am-5pm £100
This class centers on the improvised longform “the Movie,” created by Del Close with the Family. The class will simultaneously learn how to find games in classic and contemporary movie genres and to simulate film making techniques like camera angles and editing on the live stage and on the fly. (To clarify — NO CAMERAS INVOLVED, the form is performed live on stage only). Students will be expected to watch and discuss at least one movie before class.
