Yada Yada musi(K)

We can’t thank everyone enough for coming to Yada Yada K at the Camden Head for yet another packed show.

Improvised rap crew Excursions opened our most technical Yada Yada K yet (4 microphones, instruments, keyboards and drum machines!), with a wonderful blend of beats, rhymes and comedy. They rapped tales of birth, death and featured new import Canadian singer and wonderful improviser Ella Jean with her fancy travel guitar.

We followed with a massive long-form jam with Patrick Vermillion from the Magnet Theatre in New York and Lucy Fennell Knowles from Improvised Shakespeare/Glitch.

C3467X popped up and did what they do – but with a musical opening! It got soulful. And Music Box closed out the show with a musical set in a thimble. Obviously this ended in an Apoocalypse. And triangle playing so enthusiastic a thumb was injured.

We’re taking a break for December but we’ll be back, bigger than ever in January with more shows than you can handle. Watch this space (or sign up for the mailing list on the right)
